Misonoi Yuko/Japanese Confectionery Artist

Misonoi Yuko's Japanese Confectionery World

Japanese confectioneries which have more than 1000-year-history since Nara era ( 710 - 794 A.D. ) are one of the most sophisticated arts in Japan.

They are not only delicious sweets but also important messengers to announce new-season-coming or to express gratitude, celebration, pray and love.

As the stuff of my Japanese confectioneries are almost vegetable like beans, rice and agar, they are very low-calorie and healthy.Particularly it is said that Azuki beans, which are used so often as good luck tokens, are effective for cancer-prevention.

I always stand on the tradition and at the same time try to create something modern and something artistic about taste and figure.

I am so happy if you feel warm and ease with my confectioneries.
